Why I think Bush doesn't want a draft
Here's why I think Bush doesn't want a draft. Someone on Malloy talked about the special on PBS about the soliders in Iraq and they talked about private armies and mercenaries. With this they can attack Iran and not have to worry about a draft and going back on what he said back in November. Now they can hide recruitment numbers and as long as rightwing kids don't have to go people will always support him. I think this could be what they're doing with the Iran situation. The troops in Iraq now are cannon fodder and Bush and his group don't care about them and this is why they aren't giving them proper armor for themselves and vehicles. It is quite strange how someone who is CIC isn't properly protecting the troops while claming to "support" them. The company that Bush got to make the armor hadn't ever done anything like that before and for a couple of months had to close down and eventually shut down. Armies outside the US would get armor from the same place but they would get theirs VERY VERY quickly while with our military it would take at least up to twelve months! This is the age of globalization. The PNAC neocons are trying to take over the world for sure. They want to have EVERYTHING private. Why? Because that way the company will have to pay for it themselves and not Bush and the tax dollars. The tax dollars will go to Bush's wealthy friends and corporations like Halliburton and the Carlyle Group. If you haven't you should watch the film "The Carlyle Group" at http://www.informationclearinghouse.info The Bush family has ties to this group going to Poppy Bush.

1. My theory: A draft would serious resurrect *'s desertion from his unit

of the Texas Air National Guard. The issue was not taken seriously enough during 2000 and 2004, but it would be if there was a draft and the whole hypocrisy thing would be a predominant theme. After all, why would * get a free pass and a multitude of non-rich kids be compelled to face their death in Iraq? Riots, my friends, would ensue.
