Alex Jones goes on one-hour tirade against Limbaugh
Edited on Tue Jun-21-05 09:57 PM by Elwood P Dowd
during his show today. The replay is on shortwave now.

He claims the troops have it harder because of the higher temperature. Bypassing of course that they're mostly in the air-conditioned green zone while the 'terrorists' (shoemakers and taxi drivers) are left out in their plush and deluxe comfy rat cage pads.

This is the same Rush Limbaugh who advocated locking up everyone, including children, that used drugs, while at the same time cramming a hundred OxyContins a day down his throat.

This is the same Rush Limbaugh who lauds the Patriot Act in dismissing those who provide examples of it being used against American citizens and in the same breath complains when it is used against Limbaugh himself to investigate money withdrawals.

As this article picks up hits all over the web we'll see if Limbaugh has the brass to respond to it. This is made all the more unlikely by the fact that if Limbaugh and Alex Jones had a real debate, Alex would tear Mr. OxyContin a new you know what.

The truth will always triumph over a torture loving, Bush, open border, gun control worshiping, OxyContin chomping Neo-Conman like Rush Limbaugh.

3. I'm listening on 3210 also - Drake shortwave
Alex mentioned something Limbaugh and the repukes never bring up. These guys at Gitmo are in open cages, and they're covered in insect bites.

4. Most repukes I know think that the only good arab is a dead arab.

It doesn't matter if they're guilty of anything or not. They'd like to see them all wiped out. It's the new "manifest destiny" attitude.

I'm listening on a Sony 2010. I'm getting a little fade in and out, but it's listenable. I'm too lazy to sit outdoors where the reception is better, I don't have an outside antenna.

6. It's dehumanization. The classic method of getting people to accept
enemy war casualities.

The administration doesn't do it so much as their henchmen (AM radio, freepers, etc.) do. Although, the phrase, "They hate our freedom," was designed in that vein.

7. Attach a 20-foot piece of wire to your antenna
Strip a couple of inches off the end of some speaker wire, RG-59 coax, or even magnet wire, wrap it around your antenna, and then run the rest somewhere - out the window, around your blinds, or anywhere really. That might improve your reception inside. Also, a shortwave does better when moved a few feet from your computer. When you're through listening, just remove the wire.

3.210 MHZ is a strong signal, so you shouldn't be having reception problems with the Sony (an excellent little shortwave).

8. I'll try the coax sometime, too late tonight.

I've got a jack for an antenna, but it doesn't work well. It was one of the "thumbs down" remarks in reviews I've read. That along with the battery compartment that doesn't hold the batteries tight enough resulting in the memory being wiped out if jiggled too vigorously.

I've had it since sometime in the '80's and it's been a pretty good radio other than that. The model has probably been upgraded since I bought mine. Now it looks as though it's been discontinued, a pity, but I'm sure there are even better radios being made now.

-Thanks for the tip!-
