Anybody see the debate about PBS on Newshour tonight?
Some tool from the American Spectator Magazine vs. a station manager from PBS. American Spectator is a joke and the guy just kept harping on NOW and Bill Moyers.

1. Did they talk about how liberal Chuck Hagel was? That was
one of the findings of the secret report done on the "liberal bias" of NOW.

2. Heard part of it on the radio. The only talking point you need
is "William F. Buckley was on PBS for 30 years, and there weren't any complaints about a conservative bias then."

3. I did! The station manager wiped the floor with the tool.

The station manager had statistics and numbers to back up his POV. The AS ragwriter was an ill-informed idiot spouting only opinions, nothing of substance.

6. You Forgot Buster!
It was even funnier that it was Moyers and ONE EPISODE of Buster.
And the William Buckley example was right on. As a kid, that was the earliest exposure I had to that kind of establishment conservative voice.
And that lying sack of shit tried to say that Firing Line was on at midnight.

7. He didn't even get the episode of Buster right.
The epi was about a visit to a Vermont Farm. The fact that it was two women owning/running the place wasn't even mentioned in the episode; it would have to be inferred by the viewer. The right wing harpy incorrectly said it was a lesson on political correctness.
