Anyone see anything wrong with this overall assesment?
After putting together what I could from what I know about the PNAC, the Office of Special Plans, US reserve currency status, the Peak Oil crisis, and the trade dynamic we have with Asia... I think I've figured out what we're doing.

If I miss anything, I'd be happy if you could fill me in.

Leo Strauss's students acquired, through their substantial means, control of the highest office. The plan, as outlined in the PNAC (Project for a New American Century), is to make America (and therefore themselves) the one nation that ultimately controls the world. To accomplish this, they need to secure the following;

-American military omnipresence on land, at sea, and in space. (as per PNAC)
-Control of finite and dwindling petroleum supplies. (as per PNAC)
-Control of the electoral process (check)
-A majority of supporters in the House and Senate (check)
-A super-majority of supporters in the House and Senate (2006)
-The Supreme Court (no judicial filibuster + majority H&S = check)

Right now, the US economy, and therefore our war machine, is being bouyed up by Chinese loans. Ironically, our artificial economy is in turn driving China's. We know that this arrangement will eventually and catastophically collapse. We know that if China stops loaning us money, our economy, and that of the rest of the world including China's, will plummet into a truly great depression. (The thirties will look like a picnic.)

So China has her finger on the trigger, but knows we'll all tank if she pulls it. The US MUST gain control of the world's oil market before the inexorable crash - this is crucial. Should we achieve control Before the imminent crash, then the economy of the entire world will depend on us once again. For at least a couple of decades, the US will be able to dictate economic terms to the world... that should be enough to build up and put our forces in place throughout the world. We will then hold the mortgage to the future of the human race... and therefore control it's destiny.

IF China pulls the rug out, then the US will have to ‘accelerate’ our push into the middle east to control the oil.

That means nukes… lots of nukes.
My estimate is about 100 or so well-placed nukes. Retaliation will be light due to political pressure and the inability of most other countries to project force at us. Russia, not being our target, will be likely not to get involved and just ride the storm out.

Whether or not we have a functional missile defense system will certainly factor into who and where we target as well.

When the dust settles, millions, maybe even a billion will have died. Many more will have suffered. And for the next century or two, America rules the world as the most despised Empire in history.

Part of me might even agree with the PNAC if it weren’t for the fact that it’s being executed by idiot rich kids who’ve never had to bother with things like consequences.

So am I close?

1. You're forgetting disease
We're way overdue for a pandemic, one that will leave these overfed kings of the dungheap in a world of ashes with no one to lord it over.

3. Well, I was focusing on the overall plan, do you think
they have a plan for that?

I know we are on the verge of creating (if not already in possession of) genotypical viruses... the kind that say... only kill people with brown eyes and skin. (Or any other convenient variation)

Are you saying they have a 'disease plan'?

6. Yes, China and Saudi Arabia obviously think
They can get something out of this, but I'm not certain they're not just persuing self-preservation.

7. That's the agenda. Their executing much more efficiently than ...

... most folk appreciate.

They could care less how many folk die of efficient natural disasters and infectious disease. Just witness how they have avoided any true measure of support to the millions already infected with HIV.

So, for those who might wonder if they are capable of killing millions (or simply watch as millions die) -- THEY ARE ALREADY DOING IT.

If folk actually understood the scope of what we've done in places like Fallujah; if they realized that the only significant building in Iraq are air bases and facilities for green zone mega-corporations; if they had even a clue as to what it means for millions to die of AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa; if they comprehended that genocide is indeed what is happening in places like Darfur; then the neoconsters might experience some major resistance and the world might be spared a sudden, nuclear-catalyzed reduction in its total population.

But, when you have a Nation of complicit individuals -- as is evidenced by how many gas guzzling vehicles are on the roads of America, 24/7, with only one occupant per vehicle -- then rallying folk to not just halt the illegal occupation of Iraq, but indict and prosecute the numerous American war criminals is a challenge, indeed.

Peace.
