8. You don't seem to be willing to grasp what's going on here....

...the GOP controls the electronic voting machines, the software that operates them, and the tabulation of the final voting. Having longer lines at the polls doesn't matter if the individual votes are being manipulated.

And, as long as the GOP controls the voting process, we can call for paper ballots all we want...but we're not going to get them.

The only solution to this problem is breaking the power of the NeoCons at the very top levels. Herr Busch and his henchman have to be removed from office as quickly as possible. The catalyst will be the Downing Street documents, IMHO, because even Republican politicians are beginning to have a LOT of questions.

5. Voting is the final step

We need to be organizing now (anti-war groups, unions, however) and coming together to create a people's coalition that will put pressure on the Democrats as well as oust the GOP.

6. Corporate whores....

The only way to eliminate such is with complete campaign reform. Nothing less than total Public financing. Allow no donations what-so-ever. None from Corporations or from private individuals. No money allowed period. The only money a candidate be allowed to spend is the amount allotted from the public fund for campaigns. Also take some of the public air waves and dedicate them for campaign purposes. This is the only way to fight the corruption. Even well intentioned Democrats or Republicans can easily fall sway to the vast amounts of money and power offered from this corruption. End all donations immediately and 90% of the problems will vanish.
