Excuse me...why the hell have 40 million MORE names been stolen
from credit card company databases?
Something's not right here. In the past few months this has happened about four times. Mastercard says an "individual" accessed their databases and they won't reveal which names were stolen. Probably mine.
I'm just waiting for them to blame it all on Al Qaeda's #3 man. :eyes:
this for weeks and it's just revealed. Why did they wait? I had this happen twice with a Visa card and they would not say where the fraud occured, just a vendor and not who it was. I had to go change all automatic payments with a new number.
This is far past REEEEE-DICULOUS. Absolutely r-i-d-i-c-u-l-o-u-s. I have a request that any yung'un been following these "breaches of security" from NEXIS/LEXIS/SAIC/CITI/ALPHABETSOUPWITHOUTENDAMEN who has better computer skills than yer old Tante (now THERE'S a hard one!) PLEASE POST ON THIS THREAD A LIST WITH LINKS OF DATA DECLARED "LOST" in the last 9 months. Can you spell "pattern of behaviour," boys and girls? I KNEW you could! Here's a harder one: "identity theft."
