Gannon had no problem getting into the WH
Yet Rep John Conyers and other members of Congress are not allowed to go near the place? Bu$h seems to have forgotten that he lives in OUR HOUSE.

It's time to kick the lying bums out.

1. Hmmmm
I guess Conyers isn't willing to go to the same lengths Gannon/Guckert did!

2. Great point. A prostitute can get in, but members of Congress cannot.
How very interesting. This point needs to be made over and over.

3. Bush is living in his bubble and only sin gets in I guess.
Is sort of funny. I am still saying that I will be dead while you all are trying to figure out what these GOP crooks have got away with. Be interesting just who sleeps at the WH now.

4. I don't think John Conyers is willing to do what Gannon does.
Gannon is glad to bend over back-wards for the "war prezNit". I bet you that John Conyers has a lot more integrity than that. Plus John Conyers does not have a "press pass". To get a "press pass" that would allow one entree into the White House one would have to go to journalism school, as Gannon/Guckert did, for one whole day, then be published in the world famous Talon News.

5. Just Thought I'd Mention
This is an interesting picture from the visual and symbolic point of view a la Bag News Notes. I've learned a lot from that site.

Bush_Eats_Beef's thread yesterday prompted me to write Michael Shaw of BNN the following email:
The following AP photo of Rep. Conyers delivering a
540,000-signature petition to the White House is being
discussed on DemocraticUnderground.com.

(pic here)

"Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., left, ranking Democrat on
the House Judiciary Committee, hand-delivers petitions
to the White House to an unidentified White House
aide, right, standing on the other side of the
Northwest Appointment gate of the White House,
Thursday, June 16, 2005 in Washington. The petitions
are signed by 105 members of Congress and more than
540,000 Americans demanding that President Bush
provide a detailed response to the evidence in the
Downing Street memos of deceptions about the war in
Iraq. (AP Photo/Pablo Martinez Monsivais)"

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x1860935

I thought it was interesting from a BNN point of view.
The way it's shot seems just as important as the
subject itself.

Jack Neefus
Beltsville, MD
Surprise, surprise, he replied:
Jack,

I'm very glad you sent me this picture. I was just reading about it on
DailyKos. You're right. It's as visually interesting as it is
important. I'll see what I can do with it.

Regards,

Michael Shaw

10. Good point.
And what's the deal with that White House aide and his closed fists?
I don't think the aide was being violent or anything, it's just kind of weird.

11. 193 Gannon White House entries according to the Secret Service
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 10:09 AM by SpiralHawk
quite a few on weekends, when the denizens of the Bush White House are -- no doubt -- prudently recreating.

Isn't 193 entries quite a few? I mean, a lot of entries...What the heck was AWOL Bulldog Gannon getting into, one wonders?

12. It's the hypocrisy of it all!
Wow, G/G sometimes did not sign in, sometimes did not sign out. He likely was there at times without doing either.
found some more interesting links about him<http://www.theglobeandmail.com/serv...orce_login=true> <http://mindprod.com/ggloss/gannongate.html>
"“Turdblossom” term for Karl Rove Note the classic juxtaposition of the obscene with the feminine...."
there is actually some VERY interesting info here; pics and links to many interesting pics -most G rated just interesting... http://mindprod.com/politics/bushismsgay.html
