Who here thinks Conyers will get any press on this DSM thing?
I don't think he will, and for one reason only... HIS NAME. He is a nobody as far as the media is concerned.

If his name was Dean, Clinton, Kerry, Kennedy, or Gore he might get some press.

Just look at the big Democrat stories(MSM) this past week. One was obviously Dean's remarks, and the other was H. Clinton making comments about the press. You didn't hear anything about Sensenbrenner and what he did. Dean's comments and Hillary's were somewhat controversial so that ran with them.

I hope I'm wrong, but so far the MSM has been ignoring everything DSM. And unless it's a scandal against the Dems, I doubt we will ever hear anything substantial.

1. So get C-SPAN to cover it.
That's all who needs to cover it, nothing else, although the media has been invited.

10. "So get C-SPAN to cover it." ???
And how, exactly, do we do that? Just call 'em? Use that e-mail link? Tell 'em to make a programing decision cuz a schlub like me dashes off a nicely worded e-mail? Cuzza hundred schulbs like me send a hundred nicely worded e-mails?

2. Conyers said, on Schultz, that there would be a lot of press
I hope so!

Of course, we could chop off another of Zarqawi's limbs, or some white girl could go missing - or her body could be found, or Bin Laden might be sighted at a Howard Johnson's in Kabul - I have no faith in the MSM anymore.

3. Conyers is well known in tha black community.
Just because he is not Clinton doesn't mean he is an unknown.

70,000+ people here sure know his name. Anyone that saw fahreheit 9/11 knows his name.

I totally disagree with your post, Conyers has made a great name for himself.

Conyers in 2008!

6. "70,000 here know his name."
How many voted in the last election again? Come on. I have nothing against Conyers. It's just that very few of us care enough to follow the story here or watch CSPAN.

4. Maybe Conyers should throw chairs and punches like they do in
Japan ? I not sure which country it is but they always make our news when they do that.

Or maybe they can throw their laptops at Senselessbrenner.
:argh:

9. Conyers is leading us
and IF Kerry does anything, it's still been Conyers' efforts that started it. But all effort is great!

I don't know if you meant that or forgot the :sarcasm: !
