Okay, so he only helped get the funding going. But hey, the irony is delicious. I sincerely believe the fact that we can post on sites like DU (thanks SO MUCH) and have access to news archives and put pieces together here and there has really contributed to the current WMD scandal. A story like Ambassador Wilson speaking out, or Will Pitt's interview with McGovern (is that name right), would take weeks or months to circulate through the public, if ever. But with the internet, one sharp eye, and instantly thousands of people are on top of the story. The pictures on the White House web site are superb and now we ALL know Bush was right in the thick of it, with our own eyes. Yep, Al Gore creating the internet brought the illegal resident down. Awesome.
