Let's Play Six Degrees of Joseph Wilson >
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 09:47 PM by Stephanie

I know that somebody at DU knows somebody who knows somebody who knows Joseph Wilson.

I wish that Joseph Wilson would come to DU and explain to us why nobody has yet been prosecuted for the outing of his wife, the CIA operative Valerie Plame.

I'm baffled as to why nobody has yet been prosecuted for this treasonous crime.

We know that the crime was committed by a traitor inside the White House.

We know that the prosecutor, Fitzgerald, has been on the case for months.

We know that Robert Novak, the man who first exposed her identity, has been interviewed.

When will we see some action on this case?

Somebody at DU knows somebody knows who knows somebody who knows Joseph Wilson. Ask him to drop by. Ask him to explain to us what's taking so long.

I'd really like to know!

1. He might not be at liberty to discuss it
He's a witness in the case and it's probable that a gag order has been imposed on the principals. I'm dying to know too, though.

8. Perhaps. But if he is at liberty to say ANYTHING AT ALL -
He should come here and say it. We are his staunchest supporters, we've been there from day one, and we want to know!

2. Is Fitzgerald a fascist whore or a man of integrity?
The correct answer to that question will tell you more than Joe Wilson will.

I think he's a fascist whore.

12. How can we know that?
We can't. Every report on him when he was first handed the case was that he is a man of integrity and a bulldog.

5. If it was Rove, why hasn't he been prosecuted?
What's the hold-up? This is the biggest crime out of the executive branch since Nixon's little burglary.

A CIA op specializing in WMD's was outed in an act of revenge against her husband, the inconvenient WMD investigator, Joseph Wilson.

Two years later, nobody has been prosecuted. Why not? The charge is treason.

4. I am still astounded at this
Novak is guilty of an act of treason and should be tried as a traitor to the United States. The person that gave him the information, my best guess was also K__l R__e, or whoever did it at the administrations' command is also guilty of treasonous acts against the federal government. If this had happened under Bill Clinton, the right wing would have been hysterical with rage. Where is our outrage at this crime of political retribution?
