9. Well, he started out by agreeing with Tweety that Dems have no heart
or ideas, he couldnt give a good answer as to why there is not a liberal televition show....just that we are too nice. Don't get me wrong...I love Bill moyers, and I was excited to see him today, but he let Tweety answere his own questions...against Dems.

6. Bill Moyers ... scared?
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 06:09 PM by RoyGBiv
Bill Moyers has more courage (and more intelligence I might add) in his left, pinky's fingernail than most of us muster in our entire lives.

If this turns into another of those threads bashing someone because they didn't meet some arbitrary standard of perfection, I will have officially had it.

16. He did say that ...

And he's right, for the most part. Of course he's talking about the majority of the national party structure, not the rank and file. Obviously some individuals have a lot of heart and good ideas, but they are drowned in a sea of bottomless rhetoric. Recent changes have moved us more in the right direction, but we're far from there yet.

Moyers is and always has been an astute critic of politics and society, no matter who is in power, which is part of the reason these charges against him of having a "liberal bias" are so blatantly absurd. The ethical treatment he gives his subject is the definition of what "fair and balanced" should be.

17. precisely. quite akin to president carter. true Christians
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 06:33 PM by faithnotgreed
and im not saying that as a self righteous statement, just that they are true examples of what Christ represented. love and truth and grace in the face of those that oppose living these profound principles

eta: i should say they are such shining examples of Christianity in that they live it! and dont wave it around in public only to live an altogether different life in private

12. Tweety is so nauseating
Just how do Republicans "win" on the abortion issue? Does Matthews realize that the majority of Americans favor the right to choose?

18. Tweety: "There are no good dem leaders. It's their own fault"
Forgets that no MSM will allow intelligent liberals appear on TV, and then blames them for this.

He's just stupid and lazy.
