What qualifies as breaking news in today's MSM?
I'm really disgusted by what the MSM considers breaking news, especially MSNBC.

I subscribe to CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc breaking news alerts. I was just going through my email inbox, and guess what breaking news alert I got from MSNBC?

"Rafael Nadal defeats Mariano Puerta for the French Open title -"

I'm like, what? Since when does this kind of crap qualify as breaking news? I don't recall receiving any breaking news alerts from MSNBC about the Downing Street Memo. I guess I'll be waiting a long time for that.
