Bush labels his failure to create jobs as "the right track"
11:32am 06/04/05
Bush highlights economy in radio address By Rex Crum
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- President Bush used his weekly radio address, Saturday, to focus on the U.S. economy. Bush said the economy "is on the right track," and said more than 3.5 million jobs have been added in the last two years. Bush called upon Congress to complete an energy bill, show restraint on spending bills, and ratify the Central American and Dominican Republic Free Trade Agreement. Bush's speech came one day after a disappointing jobs report that showed U.S. payrolls added only 78,000 nonfarm jobs in May, less than half the jobs that were expected.

(Compare that to the 22 million plus jobs created during the Clinton administration.)

2. And yet over 70% of Americans disagree with bush.
So who's wrong? bush with his incredible track record of being correct...or the majority of Americans bush works for?

Gee, tough one.

5. Oh yes, he's been a great success ...
at growing poverty and despair.

Imagine, I just returned from an international congress where the concern was in REDUCING poverty! What a change from the politics of the U.S.! Of course, those concerned in reducing poverty don't have the resources to actually do it, whereas the U.S. has the resources (and past track record) to reduce poverty but is instead engaged now in enhancing it.
