7. okay
they (insurgent mechanics/operatives) follow the car and set them off by remote control.

it's all in the details. How does this info, so fleshed out and _somewhat plausible_ become known, but NOT the locations of the auto shops locations, with the makings of bombs, etc sitting around. Are there just toooo many auto shops in Iraq?

i heard the story on CBS...i immediately said "BS".

8. And they happen to know which restaurant & mosque the customer visits
And that the customer is prone to go to checkpoints and other high-profile targets in the green zone.

That could happen!

13. have cake and eat it too...
repukes love that...they get to demonize the authors of the bombings while saying the person who committed suicide to hit out at the occupation was in fact just a poor lil citizen etc going about business (with a 500 pound explosive in the back seat!...lol)

14. The other day I read somewhere
of a couple of Iraqis suspicious of occupation forces separating them from their vehicles for a while, to search them, or verify their papers, or whatever, then allowing them to go on. When they stopped just out of sight of the checkpoint and searched their vehicles they found ticking bombs planted in them - by OUR side!
