6. If you know how to do it..
.. try aliasing www.democraticunderground.com to 216.158.28.197 in your hosts file (on windows, this used to be in something like \windows\system32\drivers\etc\lmhosts, but my windows days are long gone - check google on lmhosts, maybe. )

DU has two hosts, and one of them is b0rked, I think. The one on the IP address above is fine..
