Our entire nation now resembles a corporate hierarchy.
In that hierarchy that we are all familiar with, price of straying from the fold is instant job loss and possibly being blackballed forever from the job market. That fear is enough to keep everybody in line, repeating the officially sanctioned mantras even if they instinctively know they are lies.

It is appropriate that such lies are now the staple of this illegal regime, because seated at the head of the table are some of the biggest corporate liars ever to grace Christendom.Rumsfeld, Cheney,Bush and a variety of corporate thugs and crooks, large and small.

In this world, public policy is determined by the most blatant lies one can get away with. The ones who are rewarded are the thugs who, even after being found out, can continue to spew their lies without any shame or remorse.

I wouldn't at all be surprised to find any one of these thugs flushing our Constitution down the toilet just to make the point that it is a document that, like the Geneva Convention, has become "quaint".
