Channel To Target Gay Men Only

The founder of British-based Faze TV said Thursday that it will become the first channel presenting programming focused on gay men. David Bouchier, the former programming managing director of Sky Italia, told the U.K. website Gay.com that while other gay-oriented channels have incorporated lesbian programming into their schedules, "Faze TV will reflect the lives and interests of real gay guys." The channel, which will be carried by News Corp's Sky Digital is reportedly on track to launch on Sept. 1. Bouchier said that programming details will be unveiled throughout the summer.

1. He must be terrified of cutting his consumer base in half! I can think

of no other reason for this.

Didn't he fund much of the 'think' that came out with the 'gay' plan? Must be some sort of triangulation.

2. This is what I honestly think what Rupert Murdoch is trying to do
-Rupert wants to use "Red Staters" so they will elect people that will give him more power to make more money.
-Rupert doesn't care about the social issues that these people care about.

5. Eventually it all comes down to money
Murdoch realizes that it's eventually about how to make money. And he sees that the LGBT community is fastly becoming a powerful market segment.

6. We'll see the duplicity of it all...right wingers hugging Hannity while
Hannity's boss goes around their homophobic voting and listening base with a special satellite (if I understand it correctly).

Sky Digital will get this channel.

Maybe for extra fee, but it's not a special satellite.
