Okay DLC, consider this re McCain vs H Clinton:
1. McCain is "seen" as a moderate. Though his licking of * makes it clear he's a reicher.

2. You can bet that the reich-wing will brand Hillary as, amongst other things, a communist for her attempt at universal healthcare and her ideology that "it takes a village" (a very astute observation, BTW, that repukes are too thick to understand.)

I'd love Hillary as a President, but for once I'd expect the Dems to fight back any filth the reich-wing puts out.

2008 is still a long way away, but I am not giving out my votes so freely ever again. I like Hillary but if she runs a poor campaign or does a poor job in the debates (not in terms of sounding better but fighting the accusations being made against her... like how Kerry didn't bother countering * or asking the same questions in return, but I digress), I will not vote for her. As I'm not keen on Green, I will put in a write-in candidate.

Assuming Hillary is the nominee. What I do expect is to see from the media is an energenic front-runner given enough scrutiny so the smallest sneeze can put him/her off the pedastal and replaced with a yawner like Kerry, whose campaign was goody two-shoes to such an extent, he never bothered to get tough by simply asking the same questions back of his opponent that were asked about him.

And why the DLC? They're so corporate and anti-anti-war people who've openly said as much about who they don't want representing them that I have no qualms telling them, face to face in fact, that they don't deserve any votes if they openly tell people that some of them aren't welcome. (while that news is ~8 months old, it's not the type I'm going to quickly forget. It's fuckin' STUPID to tell a portion of your voters that you don't count. And if anybody blames that group should the repukes win by a wider margin... it's no wonder people don't give a fuck about politics anymore. It's all a joke, people have no power, and people are being told by these pigs in power to go bugger off and that they don't count. )

1. I'm completely done with the DLC
and the way they've been pandering to nutcases by offering antichoice candidates in races where they might actually have had a fucking chance with a real Democrat has only set my position into stone.

If we get another DLC candidate in 2008, no matter whom they decide to push at us, I'm going to suit myself and vote Socialist. The party can't win without working people and it sure as hell can't win without women and the shithead DLC has gone to great lengths to piss us all off.

Maybe after they lose the next election in a spectacular fashion they'll go back where the real money is--the GOP--and we will get our party back.

In any case, they haven't won, they can't win, and they won't win. I'm done.
