DOD Personnel Impersonated State Dept. Officials at Gitmo

Documents released by the FBI state that Defense Department personnel impersonated State Department officials in interrogations at Guantánamo Bay ...

"Defense Department interrogators, possibly on instructions from high-level officials, went to great lengths to avoid being held accountable for the use of unlawful interrogation methods," said Jameel Jaffer, a staff attorney with the ACLU. "Apparently Defense Department personnel were willing to use torture but they wanted others to be held responsible for it."

and immoral and unethical and dangerous ideologues. Considering they have "administration" status because they stole two elections, I think that says it all right there.

8. To the very core....
like an onion, starting from the outer layers to the center, each layer is more corrupt than the preceeding layer.

These torture proceedures came directly from the White House, no ifs, ands or buts. bush et al are war criminals and have set a precedent that endangers every man and woman in an American uniform. If captured, they will now be handled as "enemy combatants" instead of prisoners of war and may be tortured in the same ways we tortured prisoners. Way to go, dumbya!

10. The Cover Up Of The Cover Up
This regime operates like the Woody Allen movie character where the wife walks in on the cheating husband while he's doing the secretary. The wife becomes hysteric at the husband yelling "what are you doing?" The husband casually looks up and sees his wife and says "What are you talking about"...in the meantime he motions to his naked secretary to get dressed. The wife asks about the secretary "what is she doing here..." and he replies "who?, I don't know who you're refering to..." meanwhile the secretary departs, the husband dresses, walks over kisses his wife on the head and says "you've gotta do something about those strange things you claim to see".

This regime expected a lot more heat on the Gitmo situation when Abu Grahb hit...and just the entire black eye that episode created...and started to cover up its tracks. It's been ignore, deny, divert and pretend the problem doesn't exist all the way.

There's a lot of questions about not only the ethics of this facility but the need. Isn't our criminal and justice system enough to deal with any supposed terroist who we capture? The damage just the existance of this facility...viewed as a consentration camp in the Arab world...is a total disgrace and unnecessary.
