OK, so what really happened tonight?
Cloture vote goes down 56-42, and Bolton's confirmation vote is halted. Why did Frist vote no on cloture? (I;m not saying he should have) He votes no, along with the Dems, but complains about the filibuster. Biden and crew have clearly said that they want the classified docs, and even Frist tried to get the docs. I needn't ask why the WH won't give up the docs, but what's going to happen?

2. It's a procedural thing.
So he can introduce a motion later on.

8. I think Voinovich voted
no and then he switched and voted aye right before Frist voted no so it seems to have been a trade for procedural purposes.

4. Frist may have voted no
so he can bring up a motion of reconsideration. I don't know for sure but he might have.

6. Frist voted "no" because he was drunk...
and really busy with something under the desk, possibly rolling a joint, but I can't confirm.

7. Facts be damned, lets take a page out of the Rethug playbook!
Bolton is so bad that even Frist voted to halt the confirmation vote! Never mind that he did it for procedural reasons. He voted no on Bolton - with the Dems! Then he whines about the obstructionist Dems! Is he, as Limbaugh has characterized a much finer man, a man of sterling character, (Moyers) losing it? Going nuts? Bananas? Frist is Insane!

9. That is a wonderful idea!
Bolton is such a horrible nominee, even Frist voted against him.

I love it!
