2. I want it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man that comment is SOOOO brilliant....

I love GEORGE LUCAS!!! He made so many inferences as to the parallels between Bush and Palpatine.....

I had been thinking after Fahrenheit 911 that we needed a popular movie not a documentary that mimicked the administration to show its true colors.... of course I saw the parallels once Dubya was in office, but didn't DARE think Lucas would be the one..... Hopefully the rest of the world will see that WE are like the noble jedi and the Republic, this country has been duped (well DUers haven't)

One change... make the shirt BLACK!

4. Glad he did
Even conservative geeks seen it. It is a message that power can corrupt, democracy always has enemies on the inside (neocons and fundies, I'm looking at you), and there will be those that fight to preserve democracy.

6. Sith
Edited on Thu May-26-05 11:02 AM by Tux
Is a Force user that specializes in the Dark Side. They were once Jedi who were kicked out for using the Dark Side. They found a planet with aliens called Sith that loved evil. The fallen Jedi studied under them and attacked the Republic. Sith lost and most were killed. That is when the master-apprentice deal started so there would only be 2 Sith at any time so they can hide. Darth Sidious' revenge was complete when he had the clones kill the Jedi and turned the Republic into a tyrannical empire. Sith are always angry and hate things. With that anger and hate, it leads them to think in absolutes such as either you're with me or against me. Anger/hate clouds their judgement and thoughts.

10. Order 66
I absolutely loved Order 66.. it was a brilliant, simple, albeit horrific way to finnish off the Jedi.

if I had the money i'd order 66 of the shirts.... ha ha...

11. This is how Liberty Dies....
Senator Amidala (to Bail Organa when Palpatine declares the beginning of the Empire) "This is how Liberty dies - with thunderous applause." You KNOW Natalie Portman gave her all into this speech, she was a staunch Kerry supporter....

I say you show a picture of Bush's Inagauration --er coronation... with this phrase..... Its absolutely brilliant.

Great question to throw out there for the hardcore blushbots.

Edit to replace the phrase 'true blue' with hardcore.

"Did you ever think we may be on the wrong side?"

I missed that... who says this? Obi-Wan?? Well I am seeing it again tonight...

Aint't that the truth? We are seeing some Republicans breaking away from the fraudulently elected President.....
