DU survey: Liberals think Bush is a Nazi
Liberals subscribed to the Democratic Underground Internet forum think pResident Bush is a Nazi, according to a survey by a Fayetteville researcher.

Sound far-fetched? Well, check out the REAL survey that was released on the front page of our local newspaper: "Ministers in the Fayetteville area think it is important for the president of the United States to be an openly religious person, according to a study by a Fayetteville State University researcher."

Ministers think the president should be openly religious? Ya think?

Other stunning findings: 10 percent of these ministers think it should be legal for gays to marry, and 15 percent think it should be legal for gays to adopt. (This I'm shocked by; I thought it would be much lower.)

The researcher broke it into "white preacher" and "black preacher" categories. Black preachers think Poverty is a major cause of crime in the US; white preachers think "not enough executions" is the reason. (Something tells me these white preachers need to watch Judge Dredd: the higher the execution rate got, the higher the crime rate got.)

I mean, come on. Did you really expect to call up 500 Christian preachers and have them say the president SHOULDN'T be openly religious? Most preachers here think EVERYONE should be openly religious, so obviously they're going to think that of Dear Leader.

7. Usin' it as a simile...
If I were to call up 500 DUers at random and ask them "do you think Bush is a Nazi?" probably two-thirds of them would say he was. The rest would come up with some other form of totalitarianism--fascism, communism, dictatorship, something...we'd all be fairly united in believing that he wasn't exactly a democratic leader.

This man called 500 Bible Belt preachers and asked them if they thought it important that Bush be outspoken in his faith. Like any of 'em are gonna go "naah, I think he should be an atheist."

6. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree...
From The Guardian:How Bush's grandfather helped Hitler's rise to power

"Rumours of a link between the US first family and the Nazi war machine have circulated for decades. Now the Guardian can reveal how repercussions of events that culminated in action under the Trading with the Enemy Act are still being felt by today's president..."
