I'm fighting a tought battle with some 'there are no difference between Repub and Democrats' types... somewhere there was a list of the accomplishments that the Dem's have pushed... anyone have it handy (and not the 'Day in the life of Joe Republican' story.. I need bullet points for 'pug mindsets).

1. Winning WWII, social security, Nuclear weapons, Internet.

2. I have 2 GREAT lists. One is Bush's resume and the other is Clinton's

this had been reversed).

8. When your party is not in the majority in any

house then it is a little hard to start programs. What I think our major accomplishment has been is to protect those existing programs to the extent that we are able. This is a tough fight we are in and it requires both boldness and an understanding of the political process. Those in the party, including the people on this board, who have actively taken action to preserve the very important programs must be given credit. Sign those petitions, make calls, write letters and speak out. The Party is more than just elected leaders who are presently in the minority.
