22. There are times I just want to cry

my father and brother worked hard for the Democratic Party and the rights of all us, they were both union members and everything they worked for is being torn apart. I dislike the pukes, neocons and any elected official who is not for middle america. I had dreams for my children's future, everything is almost gone. I have a pension and social security, I feel guilty collecting it thinking my children may not have this. I'm lucky, very lucky today. If it was not for SS and my pension I possibly could be a bag lady today. Seriously, if it was not for the forced savings, I would not be able to make it today. After the deductions in my salary from pension and SS there was no more I could put away the remaining money for for the survival of my family.

Let me end with this note, these rich bastards who could care less toward those who were not born with a silver spoon in their mouth may want to begin asking for prayers as they might be the ones left behind. They are looking for the rapture, well, they may be the ones left behind, and the rest go with the Lord. Tit for tat. We all may be surprised at the end whenever it is suppose to happen, probably not for quite some time. Maybe we will all go at the same time. One never knows.

I too am frustrated and angry. He is absolutely the worst president in American history. He is leading our country, and the world, into a catastrophe of unprecedented proportions. It feels like trying to stop a freight train with a flyswatter.

I have been reading Erich Fromm and Viktor Frankl for some course work and it is incredibly depressing. The psychological parallels to Hitler and Germany are even scarier than the historical parallels.
