the most interesting appearance is the one I cribbed my name from: the Pulse interview with Frank Zappa, in the last year of his life. My nickname was the name he and his daughter Diva called their new kitten, and I gave that name to my cat, and then I took it on when I started posting to DU. It was neither a witty nor descriptive choice, and I regret it now (although obviously not enough to use the recent name-change option).

There are a bunch of Squeeches out there now, denizens of various discussion boards, mostly on music, or the apparatus used to play it.

The Squeech that comments very occasionally on such blogs as Kevin Drum's or Teresa Neilsen Hayden's is me, however.
