I just watched "Kinsey". GREAT movie!

I loved some of the "morals disguised as fact" (as Dr. Kinsey called them) that everyone just accepted in the beginning:
"Excessive loss of seminal fluid has been associated with insanity, blindness, and even death"
"It's estimated that losing 1 ounce of seminal is the same as losing 40 ounces of blood"
And a statement by Tim Curry's character - "There's a cure for Syphillis: Abstinence"

After his second book was released, the Anti-American Activities committee tried to frsme his research as part of a Communist Plot.

THIS is the state of ignorance that B* and the "Abstinence Only Education" group wants us to return to.

I highly recommend this movie!

in my Netflix queue. My dad and stepmom were sex therapists during the '70s, so I grew up hearing a good bit about Kinsey.Sounds like an interesting and timely flick!
