5. Nothing should be forced or forceable upon an individual
especially the two choices you've offered. Every individual should be able to choose independently of everyone else which one of these (if any) they'll be ruled by.

Every person has the ability to write checks for their chosen cause and no one should have someone else's cause forced upon them.

8. Neither
I consider myself a libertarian leaning liberal, or a "western US" type. I don't think big government in any form is good, we need a moderate government that first and formost is FISCALLY responsible and respectful of individual liberty

big churches are against the will of God, just read the bible.

9. Big Government - democratic potential. Church and Business are Totalitarian
Big government has at least the potential to be responsive to the will of the people.

Big Churches and Big Business are inherently authoritarian, totalitarian dictatorships. The dictates of the popes and owners are the law.

12. Whats the difference, really?
Both seek to control us.

Both have the power to do good, as well as bad, so the answer really depends on the circumstances.

Big Church is A-okay as long as it doesn't get tangled up with government, no matter what the size of the latter.

13. Isn't the choice between big government or big elites? The big church
is just there to pick up the pieces.
