1. THEY PAYED HER THAT MUCH!!!
No wonder they were having money troubles.

Good riddance, her show sucked anyway. I hope AAR pummels her.

2. Considering 100K is like minimum wage in NYC
200k per year isn't that staggering. Now if it was in Peoria, that would be a fortune.

7. yes it is-I never said it wasn't
Manhattan is a very expensive place to live. My point was that 200K goes a lot farther in Peoria than in Manhattan.

9. Yes, that amount would go a lot farther in Peoria, since the cost of
living is a great deal lower. But I don't want anyone to get the impression that $200,000 is an everyday/average salary in Manhattan. It isn't.

13. $200K means she can afford $4-5K a month living expenses
Last time I checked you can get a pretty nice pad in the city for 5 grand a month. She's making out well, IMO. Yes, I know it aint peoria, but she's in the top 5-10%.

10. It suits her...
I love the new show, it suits her style, keeps her focused, and it is an hour, so she is done before she gets gratting...

8. That's sad.
I actually liked their show better than Jerry Springer's show. Anybody know what really happened?

14. Comedy Central was Craig Kilbourn's fault
The tool who recently left the late late show on CBS. He made sexual remarks about her and yet she was the one to be let go.

Hey if she had a contract she had a contract. Pay her what she's owed.

11. 250K/yr is the minimum I'd work for in NY
or London or SF...

Do you know what a 2 bedroom place goes for there? I mean a place you'd want to live in? Probably 10 times what you are used to paying in a typical American community.

Sorry to hear for the AAR trouble. We don't need to eat our own.

The radio business has always been quite strange and volitile. They're still the bastard children of broadcasting.

12. I like her, but I think she was overpaid.
And yes, I know what it costs to live in the NYC area because I do.
