Please explain to me why most Dem. senators and house members say
that "we have to stay the course" in Iraq. And why they think civil war there would hurt the U.S. And why splitting Iraq up 3 ways is bad for us. Its so fouled up in Iraq now, how can it get any worse?
Is oil is the only reason?

2. Not enough soldiers have died yet
I have no idea how many more will be required to do so, but at some point there will be a critical mass of objection and rejection of the war by those who've been forced to bleed and cry for it.

We haven't gotten there yet.

3. no, oil is NOT the only reason
Democrats are proving that they can be tough ... not smart ... not rational ... just tough ...

they are adding "real muscle" to the Party's image ...

4. they cant split up the country for the reason that kurds
along the border of turkey would have their own government and turkey got a promise from u.s. that wouldnt happen. they have their own kurdish problem in that area and absolutely dont want iraqi's kurds to get independence, might encourage their kurds
