Kraft foods and the Gay Games

I got this email from a friend this week. If this has been posted already, I'm sorry I missed it. I think it's good to support companies that do the right thing.

Stand Up For Kraft Foods
Kraft Foods, Inc. has recently signed on as a corporate
sponsor of The 2006 Gay Games, to be held in Chicago.
Immediately The American Family Association, an ultra-
conservative, anti-equality organization (which I have
mentioned in many an email) sent out a call to their
membership to contact Kraft Foods and object to this
sponsorship.

They are not the only ones with a phone or computer. Take a
moment to call Kraft Foods and tell them that you are proud
of their decision to sponsor The 2006 Gay Games. There phone

1. That is great...

... that Kraft is sponsoring these games. But I boycott everything that Kraft makes since they bought out Tombstone Pizza of Medford, Wisconsin and totally turned it into bland, homogenized junk not worthy of it's premium price. Just another local/regional business with a unique taste and top quality that has been bought out by a multinational and ruined.

2. Time to find a good pizza parlor and get over it.

A responsible manufacturer is a hard to find. I'd buy other Kraft Products you do like and move on.

Thanks for the info. I'll call Kraft Foods and thank them. I'm in the position (I live in Chicago) where I will be able to attend some of the events. I'm looking forward to my city hosting the Gay Games.

But hey, at least they are causing turmoil within the Republican party. Good for them.
