Why do indignant conservatives find it so hard to believe that Gitmo
guards would flush the Quran down a toilet? They are demonizing Newsweek like they did to the country of France before the war. After Abu Ghraib, Saddam in his underwear, and the latest NY Times article about 2 innocent Afghanis being tortured to death, I would think that the Quran incident would be quite believable. Yet everyone, even mainstream media, refers to the "erroneous" Newsweek report.

I think the only thing that will bring back America's good image around the world would be to impeach Bush/Cheney and have them go to trial at the Hague.

1. because THEY KNOW
that the whole agenda of this neocon takeover is complete bullshit, but they don't want the rest of the world to see it, so they constantly play shoot-the-messenger.

2. Conservatives were in an uproar over the 10 commandments
just a few months ago, when Chief Justice Roy Moore was forbidden to place them in a government building. You would think that conservatives more than anyone else would understand outrage in the Muslim world over the treatment of religious icons.

3. WTF?!
Didn't you hear? Only Christianity is right and should be forced onto people so evangelical ministers can make more money, tax free, while destroying heathern religions.:sarcasm:

4. Oh, please, they all know it happened. It's a conspiracy of lies.
The point is to shut people up and keep them from telling the truth---about them, their Bush and this supposed war on terror.

The only way to do that is to claim it never happened, couldn't have happened, and then when among themselves have a good laugh and congratulate the US for going after dirty muslims.
