Ignorance and Apathy Abound in the U S A.
This situation is not without a supplier. Those suppliers right now are: AM radio, MSM on TV, The New York Times, AM radio, Halliburton and other War-profiteer spokespersons, the FDA, AM radio, C-SPAN on Fridays, and the general deluge of non-stories by everyone's local newscasts, even those who have lost soldiers.

The distraction factor is HIGH.

I tune into TWC to see how severe and when a storm might hit me, but instead of weather, I get someone who is a wannabe actor and nods his shaved head in 20 directions while he is speaking and he is telling me about something that happened 2 years ago. Weathermen are now actors?!

The distraction factor is HIGH.

The weather was great here last week. One woman said to me that "thank God George Bush is President, because things have calmed down so much."

I asked her what did she mean, people are dying every day in Iraq. She almost yelled at me...NO ONE HAS ATTACKED US SINCE MY FAVORITE PRESIDENT WAS ELECTED!

The distraction factor is even HIGHER.

1. Yep
Ppl seem to have the attention span of a gnat too, which certainly doesn't help!

Speaking of TWC, seems like every time I flip through there lately there is something on about global warming. Anyone else notice that?

4. She says no one has attacked us since Bush?
Ummm.... what about 9-11? That thing that he was warned about in the PDB that he didn't bother to read while he was racking up his record for most vacation days by any POTUS?

Sheesh.

8. My priority right now is...
to (okay, that's funny) get Bush people informed about how they have been screwed by him and his buddies.

10. That would require memory and independent thinking skills,
which seem to be lacking in sooooo many. Besides, the incompetent Condiliar who stated the title of said PDB was "Bin Laden determined to strike within the US" or something very similar, was PROMOTED so therefore these little issues must not be as important as some of think that they are.
