4. It's the 2nd vote that is supposed to be the 'nail-biter'
Edited on Thu May-19-05 04:56 PM by Spazito
the one on the amendment Bill C-48. Interesting, they are saying the NDP might vote NO on Bill C-43 knowing the bill will pass and then move on to the biggie, Bill C-48.

Edited to add:

Ha, the media was wrong, the NDP voted for the first bill as well! WTG NDP!

8. So, we have to wait till Mr. Cadman votes to know
Edited on Thu May-19-05 05:05 PM by Spazito
unless there is anyone who defies the party line vote which is HIGHLY unlikely.

What I do like is we will know BEFORE the Con/Bloc alliance actually votes, either way.

ROFL, the Cons met with Cadman and promised him an unapposed election if he voted with them plus money for his campaign but, Mr. Cadman, who is looking more and more impressive didn't buy it!

The Libs won!!!

11. The only individual that came out looking honourable
in this whole mess, imo, is Chuck Cadman. He represented the wishes of his constituents in a very honourable way. I wish I had a representative like him.

12. I'm relieved..

I'm a NDP guy, but destroying Stephen Harper's Career is always jake w/ me.

This would have totally sucked that on the day I get accepted as a permanent resident, the conservatives would force an election. I'm very, very relieved..

13. The news of your acceptance is WONDERFUL news, enigmatic!
Congratulations!

Re the vote: I know you know us (Canadians) well enough now to know we do like a rough and tumble fight on occasion but want to move on afterward, lol.
