Santorum on CSPAN2 :"It's about majorities.", "elections have consequences
Edited on Thu May-19-05 03:50 PM by CottonBear
"The president won and he deserves to nominate who he wants to."

"We ought to change from qualified or not qualified to in the mainstream."

http://www.c-span.org/watch/cspan2_rm.asp?Cat=TV&Code=CS2

"Up and down vote..."
"Some say this is about an abuse of power. The majority can abuse power."

edit: I think he's threatening us.

edit: He's discussing contraception and insurance plans and his Catholic faith and exceptions for religous employers(?)(to provide insurance that provides contraception for women).

11. The Majority can abuse power?
Edited on Thu May-19-05 04:00 PM by rkc3
Wow that's a big pill to swallow.

I hope Bob Casey Jr. includes that in an ad during the 2006 campaign.

I can see it now - how does ricky feel about being in charge? The Majority can abuse power. Does this sound like a person who should be representing you?

On edit - sounds like compassionate conservatism at its best.
