White Rose Funding Drive - Half Way There!

Many thanks to all of you fine people who have gotten White Rose Society halfway to its goal!

White Rose Society, the leading Liberal/Progressive talk show audio archive on the Internet was started in 2002 to showcase The Mike Malloy show.

Since then we have grown significantly, and serve a dozen different programs to over 6000 different people in the average week.

Every day we archive 27 hours of digital audio and place it on-line for anybody to hear.

Of course, all of this takes time and money. In January of this year I was forced to make a decision; Either abandon the archives, or make it my full time job. I chose the latter, and incorporated White Rose as a proper business. By the end of March I was finally in a position to pay myself a salary of $300 (before taxes) per week; Enough to survive on. And I owe my continued survival and the growth of the site to you, my friends and patrons!

My goal is not to get rich from White Rose (an event that seems very unlikely) but rather to put my ass on the line to find Liberal voices that need a wider audience and present them to the world, and I can only continue to do this with your regular support.

Of the large number who use the site, however, only a small percentage helps out with their donations.

If you use the site, and have not already done so, please consider making a small donation either one time, or monthly. Even a small donation helps out so much!

6000 per week getting Liberal radio from Ben's site! In reality, I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to kick in a buck a week for all that Ben does. Wanna know the big difference between Liberal radio and the Righties? Ben does it for practically nothing....I do it for absolutely nothing and several other real radio professionals don't make squat. We do it because we know it really matters. The Liberal voice is being heard. The Righties on the other hand are all high paid political whores who would change parties in the blink of an eye if thats where the money was.

Liberal radio people shouldn't have to ask for donations but we must. Those of you who use Ben's valuable service should support his site or hang your heads in shame.

(I have seen certain scummy sites implying that this thread is some sort of cheap panhandling ploy, and it pisses me off)

If it is the sites I think you mean they are just upset that I still exist.

One of those guys was predicting my site's demise back in 2003. Didn't happen then. Isn't gonna happen now. I'll survive to see them buried.
