And we need to do it NOW!

But the media predicted, accurately, that after the war started, that the protest movement would lose its oomph. I didn't want to believe it.......but we were just as guilty of the sheeple of having a 15 min attention span. Sure, a lot of people are still embroiled with turning this around.....but not in a unified way.

We NEED world marches on this.....and we need it NOW. It's the surest way to turn this around.

I mean...gosh, the SPIN on us going out to the streets again with the SAME PLATFORM, yet totally proven correct by ensuing events? It's masterful! and a God-given gift to mankind .....if we would but use it.

I am SO there. Can't the organizers of the last marches pull something together? Now is definitely the time to strike since there is so much momentum building up right now.

They said the president is putting it behind him and it's time to move on. They can't ignore thousands of people in the streets saying that they hold him and his entire administration accountable. That certainly would send a message.

we got people talking about the war before the war crimes occurred...and with the kinds of hatred borne of the American fearful and anti-American activities of the "you hate America" set, we proved that our message was warranted.

They should have listened for any number of reasons. Now we know they lied to make it happen, so we have to come together and remind them that their experiments in "manifest destiny" are unwarranted, unwanted, and treasonous.

Look at this way.....those organizations are not run by a few people. They are empowered by the MILLIONS who march in their name. Those millions of people are right here in our neighborhoods. If we start a grassroots movement on the local level...THOSE organizations' people (our fellow neighbors) will ALSO put pressure on the orgs to mandate this.

Cause LORD KNOWS, I have emailed those orgs and they never write back.....whatever.....everything just goes down the sinkhole. It's the PEOPLE in the streets that make this happen, not some committee at ANSWER. So, when their people start hounding them.....from all over America......they will jump on the bandwagon.

Hell...what activist is NOT thinking "take this to the street!" But everyone is sitting around waiting for someone to get the ball rolling. Well............let's roll that ball!

one month would probably be sufficiant to get a huge number of people in DC and SF again. What's going on with United 4 Peace and Answer? We need some serious organising skills, a coalition of groups that were involved last time.
This probably is the best thing we could do right now.
