Vandalism With A Message

This was done to every newspaper box around my school.

almost all the boxes in the downtown area and NW have 'lies' on them and have had them for over a year.

10. there have been a number of newspaper "wraps"

done in our city.

Somebody prints up a false front page with similar font etc. so that it appears to be the actual paper. After purchasing the paper, the reader then finds REAL NEWS they would not have seen otherwise.
It seems a group of people followed the delivery trucks with pockets full of quarters and rubber gloves. They then quickly wrapped every paper in the box with a new front page. Needless to say it is risky, and the paper did not at all appreciate it. In another similar action somebody inserted pictures of wounded Iraqi children into each paper.
I don't know who did it, but it was pretty daring, creative and effective.
