I just emailed the DNC to tell them to take lessons from the Galloway
performance yesterday. I think WE ALL should tell the Dems to do that--let them know how WE feel.

I also told them avoid criticizing Galloway(don't help the RW undercut his message), but point out what he said that was so "right on." They could support what he said, even if they are "afraid" to support the man. Most of all, they should go on the offensive like he did. Boy, how masterful he was!!

I also told the DNC that I would start donating to them again, when they developed the Galloway "spirit"

2. I doubt if they listen to you
Good effort though!

I am now convinced that the Democratic Party has become nothing but a toothless RLP (Repug Lite Party).

3. You would think they'd get the idea ...
... that going off like Galloway did would be enough to push the BCC off the deep edge and expose them for the fascists that they really are.

4. It really makes you wonder
What is wrong with the democrats? Are they all guilty of something? Does the gop hold something over everyone of our representatives? Howard Dean used to come out swinging over things like this. Again, what the devil are they all doing?

Why is Bush not squirming and racing to get his defense in order for his impeachment trial?

7. Piercing the bubble of the exogenous set
American politics has become an insular bubble, protected by thick walls
of hubris and media groupthink. These persons in various parties think
they are preachin' to the choir, as they position themselves in an
infinite campaign.

Galloway does not live inside that bubble. He sees it from the outside,
like so many of us here on DU who are not inside the US. From the
outside perspective, the behaviour is obvious, criminal and every so
clearly deceptive. In that sense, you're asking the democratic party
to wake up to this globalist perspective.

Well then what you're saying, is to peirce the bubble, be it by
importing representives of the outside set, or the opinion of the
outside set. It is not a way to run for office, as ultimately it must
be reflected by the electorate. So there is a conundrum, that to be
such an opposition view, is to not be elected, and act merely as a
loyal friend speaking the truth... really opposition... and america
does not have opposition politics, so it is unrealistic to expect from
the party that intends to re-take power when this bush criminality
is exposed.

If you wanted to do it right proper like, you'd take a video camera
to various countries and hold a town hall meeting with some senior
american officials. This would get all the dirt out in public, as
those officials face down their detractors... however those very
officials, knowing they are behind a criminal consipiracy will not
expose themselves... and they did not realize what a mistake it was
to charge galloway with their liabellous slander.

That was it... last year it was the debates, and this year, galloway.
There is never a point in time when the criminals are forced to take
direct responsibility on camera for their behaviour. I can't blame
our democrats, like my own representative Schumer, for being silent,
as he wants to run for office and won't risk challenging the orthodoxy
as it would only get him labelled as a heretic.

However, as a public servant, i do wish some of these guys would
indeed step foward to be REAL public servants beyond the bubble, as
it won't take much more truth to break the dam... and the dambusters
is the way to go.
