I still get the impression that our Demo "Leaders" are in on the scam
the big scam. the big lie. the big hoax. the big sham. the big take. the big war. the big secret. the big joke.

after watching a foreigner dress down our republican senators PROPER, i am sadly reminded, our democratic elected leaders, are not that different from the republican assholes.

would that they were all cut from george galloway's cloth.

4. Yeah damn they are punk ass bitches aren't they?
So sue me. I'm having a Chappelle moment.

Seeing Louise Slaughter on Countdown yesterday say these beautiful words: I owe the TRUTH to my constiunency. They care about the truth.

And Senator Biden and Senator Lieberman what do they care about?

Going along to get along. Getting ELECTED again.

Hey assholes-you think the point is the power and keeping the power.

The point is US. Can you imagine a government that said this is wrong.. I will not support this president..this secretary of state..they do not deserve my support or trust.

Oh and double fuck McCain too. His ass covering of Bush knowing what he knows because one thing and one thing only-he wants to be president.

No integrity. None. Spineless traitors.

"It was the way it was done, it was how everyone played the game." Politics sucks ass.

5. Yep.
In some ways, there's not much difference. The Democrats are simply not in a big hurry to pack the courts and rewrite the Constitution. They are, however, quite willing to whore for Big Money, which will eventually have the same result.

8. Me? I think they've fallen into a f-upped mindset, a willing blindness.
Not all! Hell, there's a helluva lot more Democrats that are spot-on realists and are fighting for humanity than there are Republicans (NONE).

Frankly, we have some pretty powerful, outspoken Democrats that are working their asses off to defeat the right-wing corporacrat Republican HATE machine.

Galloway was GREAT! Wish all our impactful Democratic voices got as much coverage for a day.

9. Most Dems are not representing the Middle Class.
That is why I joined the Green Party 4 years ago. People keep saying that the Green Pary is not relevant. Yeah, right. If all the "progressives" that are sick and tired of the Repub Lite Dem party would join the Greens, just maybe the Green Party would be more relavent, eh?

17. and,...ALL Republican representatives are vultures. Whereas,...
,...there are Democrats busting their asses, risking their political careers as they fight back.

I NEVER said the Green Party is irrelevant. Damn!!! But for the Green Party activism we would never have realized all the protection of consumers and the environment!!!! The Green Party has accomplished SO MUCH from the outside of the political machinery.

So, don't get weird on me here. I LOVE the Green Party,...'kay!!!!

I am talking about what WE, all of us, must do to unseat the power that is. If we aren't willing to work together to do whatever it takes to get these greedy, destructive imperialists out of office, WE ALL SUFFER.

That's a fact.

We can either choose to defeat this regime together or we can fail together. I'm sorry but that is just the way it is,...and it has absolutely nothing to do with the relevance of any party or person,...except to the extent that any of us fail to fulfill our common cause.

The implications are mind-boggling.

It brings up something that has been nagging at me since the era of Nixon-Kissinger-Hammer (they as emissaries and negotiatiors on behalf of the banking, corporate, politician, military cabal). I think they made a deal with Russia or China or both to sell our country out. I was very bothered at the time and could never figure it out on my own without studying which I didn't have time to do. The sell out has accelerated wildly.

The implication is that Clinton, Gore, and Kerry were all set-ups. Are we ready to accept that?

Another implication is that all of 'our leaders' are in the missing money and know where it is and/or are getting their share.

Another implication is that they knowingly facilitated the deaths of all these people.

It is too much to bear. I've never been so up and down. Hearing all the money stated the way Galloway did and knowing that Galloway is only saying what people on DU and a few other places have been saying is hard. I believe him and I can't get appropriately giddy. He'll go home and everyone will keep on lying.

I feel that my entire life has been a lie and a rip-off. That there was never anything there that was honest and genuine except the other people like myself. That has got to be enough.

I took pleasure in my patriotism and love for the country. We've been had. The truth hurts when you know it cannot be denied, because all the evidence is blatant and nearly up front except for the perpetrators and their blind followers.

13. It's the MONEY that talks in Washington, not PRINCIPLES
It has been this way for as long as the election system is run on private cash, and as far as I can see, it will probably be this way for the majority of my life if not until the day I die. It's sad for the fact that this should have been addressed in the 1960s when the people were mobilized, but they failed to push reform that far.

15. Galloway pulled back the curtain today....
...and exposed our entire Senate (Democrats and Republicans) for the naked FRAUDS that they are, whose ONLY concerns are covering each others asses while protecting the MONEY MACHINE!!!! They will quibble occasionally for sound bites for the people back home, but no one rocks the boat.

The REAL TRAGEDY was that today was so special. If we truly had a representative government, this would happen EVERY DAY!!!!

I am ashamed of BOTH parties!!!!
Except for a handful of Democrats and Bernie Sanders, TO HELL WITH THEM ALL!!!

24. The thing I think is really sad
is that there still are some good democrats out there but they aren't where we need them in higher places. Think of what would be happening if John Conyers was the minority leader now and leading the pack instead of in Congress. Think of what it would be like if Slaughter was in the Senate as well. You know they would be leading the pack. I'm a proud democrat but it is shameful and very disappointing nobody in the democratic party was there to stand up WITH Galloway and confirm what he was saying was true.

That is why I disagree when someone here says it is wrong to argue about someones candidate here. The ONLY way to make an educated guess about these guys is if OPEN discussions about them are held. The good, the bad, and the ugly, so to speak is the ONLY thing that can help us wade through the muck!

20. Did you see the Democratic Asshole Carl Levin from my state of
Michigan try to make excuses for the Republican policies in Iraq? And to evade galloway's well reasoned arguments by trying to frame this as a matter of Galloway's credibility? Disgusting.

21. mopaul, Carl Levin Behaved Differently Knowing That C-SPAN Wasn't There.
I saw a whole new side of Carl Levin I never knew existed until today, mopaul.

Could it be that Senator Levin has a public side when the cameras of U.S. Network Media and U.S. Cable News Media and C-SPAN are rolling?

Could it be that today when only the BBC was broadcasting that Mr. Levin felt, shall we say, free to be himself.

I read the title of your thread, mopaul, and have to tell you that I feel very much the same way.

It's like you say, "a big sham. The big take. The big war. The big secret. The big joke."
