Why are we still talking about the Iraq war?
Hannity said yesterday that 'the United States won the war, and it's over. Us liberals need to quit talking about it. We voted for Kerry, who supported this war, so why don't we just quit attacking Bush. We have no ideas, we just attack.'

Quiz--> How many talking points can you find in the above statement.

I think we are seeing the right get desperate. Their defense against Downing Street Memo will be the same old shit. 'It's just as much the Democrats fault because they voted for this war too. Everyone thought Iraq had WMD's. blah, blah, blah....'

5. So it has to be initiated 'legally' to be war?
Don't get semantic on me. It is a war becuase it involves people engaged in mortal combat.

It is ALSO an illegal invasion, or better yet it BEGAN with an illegal invasion.

it wasn't a 'war', it was a turkey shoot. :-(

"Dropping bombs from a safe height on an already hard-pressed people, whose infrastructure is in chaos from years of sanctions and who live under an oppressive regime, isn't a 'war'. It's a turkey shoot. "

9. Exactly...
That's exactly what I was thinking.

FYI, this was on H & C's last night. I was flipping the channels and got sucked in by the topic(Newsweek). Bad mistake though, I could feel my heart rate go up the more I watched.

6. So we won? That means the folks who continue dying . . .
Are dying for nothing. Is that what Mr. Hannity is saying? Would he care to repeat his comments in person at the local American Legion hall?
