The Delphi Corporation, a GM spinoff, is on its deathbed.
This is a parts manufacturing subsidiary of GM that was spun off a few years ago and touted as the world's largest auto parts manufacturer. During the past three years it has not made a dime in profits and its latest quater is a doozy with a loss that is as staggering as GM's own.Because it is heavily dependent on GM for its business, one may administer last rites to this corporation which is a large employer in Indiana, Michigan and other Midwestern States.

Adding to this natural problem of business cycles, the entire management at Delphi has been found to be cooking its books and are targets of investigations by the SEC and FBI.Looks like ordinary workers are going to pay the price once again for the misdeeds of the top brass.Isn't that always the case?

1. How many will be jailed?
Screwing the workers is encouraged with the new morality. Greed is good and it is all a game to these people. Eventually they will pay the price, it is simply a question of when the boiling point is acheived...

2. The way things are going, Indians will soon feel the misdeeds of the top.
Right now Indian media had praised *'s victory. But if they think anybody is loyal to them...

The same goes to ANY worker of ANY country should the company's top execs screw around. After all, we're a globalized economy. With US corporations at the top of them all.

3. Talking of Indian media, there is a rumor at Delphi, that many of its
operations will be moved to India to return to profitablity. No wonder they praise Bush's victory.
