Right-Wing "Christians," Watch Your Back!
Was Jesus Gay?
By BRIAN J. FOLEY

Right-wing "Christians" hate gays. They denounce homosexuality as an "abomination." Many political analysts credit President Bush's reelection to the "Christians" who stampeded to the polls to vote against gay marriage.

Maybe these "values voters" are repressing something else. Could they harbor a fear that dare not speak its name, a fear that their "American Idol," Jesus, might have been gay? Consider the evidence. Jesus never married. He was apparently dateless at the Cana wedding. He associated almost exclusively with men, bopping from town to town, incurring the wrath of religious elders.

The Bible doesn't detail any sexual encounters among these guys, but it does show Jesus telling them how much he "loved" them. He made his companions remove their sandals and washed their feet, drizzling warm water over their toes and rubbing them dry. They were cavorting in a park when police raided them and arrested Jesus; one of his friends had betrayed him with a "kiss."

Hanging out in parks with other men, kissing them, fondling their feet such behavior would not be tolerated in today's "mega churches." And just imagine the reaction to the robe and long hair, or the Palm Sunday parade!

3. That's not what scares them. Their eschatology isn't Biblically correct
according to End Times Delusions, by Steven Wohlberg. The 'futurist' eschatology, with its requirement of a Third Temple (where the antichrist will sit) and a pre-tribulation rapture, are all delusions according to Wohlberg's book.

The 'historicist' eschatology is what Wohlberg promotes. The 'futurist' view was begun by Jesuits in the late 1500s to counter the Reformation view that the Papacy was the antichrist. It is strange nowadays that rightwingers especially Protestant evangelicals would be promoting a Left Behind view of the 'end times' that was originated by Catholic Jesuit priests so long ago.

Very interesting political implications, with Opus Dei and the Knights of Malta. Opus Dei was founded during Franco's rule in fascist Spain. And the Knights of Malta were running rampant in the post WWII CIA: Donovan, Dulles, Angleton, Casey, McCone, etc. etc. etc.

It seems interesting that in the early '70s Hal Lindsey comes along and pushes the Late Great Planet Earth 'futurist' end times view...identical to the Jesuit Ribera's from the 16th century !

But whatever it takes to promote a fascist world view....

6. Heh, watch out - I posted a poll about this once.
For alleged progressive Christians, some were MIGHTILY offended about an honest question. Most weren't, but a few -- wow. Their homophobia shone through.

7. Listen children to a story
You know I want to take this time to thank my parents for teaching me to respect other peoples rights and privacy. I want to thank them for teaching me that my god loves everyone regardless of orientation party or stance on reproductive issues. Hmmm maybe thats because my parents are from the sixties and dont believe in texas Jesus. I'll say this sixties Jesus rocks. Repeat after me.Raises power fist.
"Go ahead hate a neighbor go ahead cheat afriend do it in the name of heaven you can justify it in the end. There wont be any trumpets blowing come the judgement day on the bloody morning after one tin soldier rides away." Yep it'll all come out in the wash. Long live sixties Jesus. Sorry I am strung out on dopamine right now :)
