Unbelievably Shocking Letter in Saturday's Toledo Blade
Edited on Sat May-14-05 09:31 AM by bobd
Verbatim, as it was published:

No use for scum
I'm getting sick and tired of reading about adults having sex with children and pre-teenagers. I propose that our laws be changed to provide for zero tolerance for the abusers. We have no use for scum in our society. Simply take the abusers and their blood relatives directly to the lethal injection chamber immediately after the abuser has been convicted of the crime. No appeals, No jail time. No scum!

And we wonder why Ohio is crashing and burning? Betcha this guy's on the fast track for election as a fine and upstanding Republican. He sure has the patter down.

Here's the link to the letter in Blade's On-Line version. Scroll down toward the bottom of the page.

1. This just stakes out the position that moderates can now take--
People can think, "Oh, I think taking their blood relatives is going too far. On the issue of mandatory immediate death penalty for scum, I'm a moderate."

3. I had a call from a recruiter this week about a decent-paying

job in Canton, OH. I told him that it wouldn't be a first choice. He asked why, and I told him, "I was born and raised in Northern Ohio, and my immediate family still lives there, but that state is doing its best to head back to the dark ages, and I don't think I want to move my kids there."

His response? "Yeah, I've been hearing that from a lot of people."

4. it's interesting you can hold those views
but still advocate the destruction of an entire population for oil.

that being said I don't think that's as outrageous as half the other things floating around in the emptiness of the freeper mind.

it's really very sad to think that people walk around this brainwashed by the MSM, thinking that the most important thing in America is the weekly murder hand-picked (from a broad set of murders) and force-fed to citizens, who are only too eager to take it in.

9. No - It's the "No Use For Scum" Letter toward the Bottom
Scroll down toward the bottom of the linked page. The one where the writer advocates for lethal injection for the relatives of the sex offender.

6. in Perrysburg it's even
worse. If I see one more "Viva Bush" bumper sticker on an SUV I'm afraid that, uh, oh, er, I'll hold my breath til the veins in my nose explode!"

I would suggest that the writer of the "scum" LTTE is typical of far too many members of our state. I gotta go before I get too depressed!

7. Wow! Now that's medieval!
Back in the day they used to do that too. If you offended the king not only did you pay a hefty price but so did all your relatives.

If this isn't evidence these extremists would gladly take us back to the middle ages, I don't know what is.

8. Better gather up their neighbors, too.
Heck, better to just bomb the city where the molestation occurred.

12. NW Ohio
Ahhh, yes - speaking from the SW corner of the state, I can report that this is the region that gave us Tom Noe, a very influential Rethug in that area (holds positions in several commisssions, etc.), and allegedly a coin dealer, who got the Workers' Comp Bureau to invest $50million in "rare" coins. He's now under FBI investigation re: funds diverted to the Bush campaign, and get this - LOSING 120 coins! Their worth? Or the return on these "investments"? No one's talking yet, but they will. The question IS - will the media report it? The Red Party is likely crying to Rove, Norquist, Luntz for a spinaway out.. Buncha corrupt bastards, IMHO. May all their political lives be cut short!
BTW, Cincinnati itself went Kerry 66%-30%, so don't blame everyone down here. In fact in Hamilton County we cut the R's 11% margin in 2000 to 5.5% in 2004...in HALF, so we're making
progress. Take suppression and fraud outta the picture, and we win Ohio. 2006, LOOK OUT, freepers!

13. So if someone is molested by a blood relative
then they better keep their mouth shut because that'll be the last time they admit being a crime victim.
