Some people use DU as there primary news source, I for one thought it was real and I had predicted the incident was a training excercise, only to be mocked by some freeper troll. I suspect the Op of that post may be a freeper.

9. NO, Satire belongs in the lounge....

By that logic, pretty soon we won't be able to believe ANYTHING we see on DU.

I for one, want to avoid that and I think we have a right to expect parody or satire to remain specifically in the lounge (and apparently the mods/admins agree, given its removal).
