A message to the State of Connecticut
I was born and raised in Connecticut. Bridgeport, specifically. I've not lived there since 1972. My wife is from New London.

When the hell will Connecticut take out some measure of justice at the polls?

Sikorsky has been making Marine One since Igor still walked the plant floor. It was a point of pride for you that the helicopter was completely AMERICAN made. My Dad worked at Sikorsky until he retired. You vote for Kerry in the last election and they give the Marine One contract to a FOREIGN based company.

Now it looks like Groton will close. Groton has been Sub Central since subs were subs. The sight of our nuke boats heading down the river to the Sound and out to sea was one I never thought would end. But King George has done that. Say goodbye to those stately, stealthy, lethal sights. Nevermore.

Will Electric Boat also close? Pratt and Whitney? Norden? These are companies and places who won REAL fucking wars. These are part of our heritage. Bush wants you all to dry up and blow away.

Wake the fuck up!

Jodi Rell? Get rid of her. Why the fuck is a REPUBLICAN governor so popular in a state I KNOW is blue. Chris Shays? Hey, Fairfield Countians ....... Lose that guy! He's a REPUBLICAN. Don't talk to me about 'moderate'. Talk to me about enablers.

Thank you for listening to a (VERY PISSED OFF) prodigal son who will be back in September for a 40th HS reunion.

2. Pratt
Pratt has already sent a ton of jobs to Canada, as they don't have to pay for health care on Canadian jobs. GM has done the same. Both companies (well, Pratt's parent company UTC) have lobbied Canada to make sure they keep their gov't health care system.
