That something is fishy, then maybe he should step back and analyze things.

If he they did not notify him: then
They couldn't reach him or they were instructed not to reach him.

If not instructed to reach him, then why. Was it because he was incapable of taking action, much like Kissinger and Nixon, or that he was undergoing a procedure that could not be interrupted. Such as out of it.

Perhaps I have made assumptions that I have not put down, but I am sure that if Bernie did an analysis he could come up with a much better analysis.
