Do you think the FBI will be at my door?
I wrote this email to shrub. He won't read it, maybe some will though.

Thank you Mr. Bush, many of my friends who voted for you and your friends in the Congress and the Senate are planning not to vote republican again.
Personally in the next election no matter the party (but really not much choice in my state) will not vote for anyone who is not for the middle american. Sorry, I worked all my life and very
hard, gave up a lot for my family, not you or your base will screw me again. My vote does count and I will make sure of that.

You are taking everything away from middle america, well, I can't let this happen. You grew up in wealth, not everyone grows up pampered. My children work over the 40 hours work week just to make it. They give to SS and have their 401's. They are for SS to remain the way it is except for one big change. Those making over $90,000 should give too. What are your daughters doing?

By the way, I worked a high stressed job for 23 years before I retired, no way my body and mind could handle anymore, I retired. Thanks to my pension, another thing you are trying to get rid of and SS another thing you are trying to get rid of.... I'm doing okay. If it was not for these two things I would not have been able to retire. I don't have my family fortunes to live off.

Maybe you should wear the shoes of someone who is the middle class, someone who is living from paycheck to paycheck to give their family the best..... try it, you may see things differently. There are no big parties, there are no vacations at a far away ranch or a Camp David. Maybe you should eat PB&J sandwiches for a week, maybe you should go a few days without food, maybe you should go several years without dental care and healthcare., yes when things were really bad I made my own sanitary napkins. Do it, than talk to the American people.

I've never experienced a President of the United States who hates and disrespects people the way you do. I pray for you Mr. President. You need prayers many of them because you are making my Lord cry. You have a different Lord than I do, my Lord teaches to be honest and to care for others. He doesn't teach to lie and cheat. My Lord is a good God. I love my God and my God loves me.

I'm sure you are probably shielded from my email, in fact I'm sure you never read your email but I thought I'd send this anyway. I do feel very sorry for you because you really don't know what it is to be really human.

1. Wow, I've always felt the same, but never could have said it
as sincerely and from the heart.

My guess is he would laugh.

2. Good letter.
Why don't you send a copy to the editor of the Washington Post and the Iconoclast in Crawford, TX? Maybe one of them would run it.

12. Here's the Washington Post e-mail for letters to the editor:
letters@washpost.com

You might also submit it as an OPED (opinion/editorial) at OPED@washpost.com

Be sure to include your phone number and all contact info so they can verify your letter's authenticity, or they won't run it.

4. Great Email
I don't think the FBI will show up at your door. I once accidently sent an Email (I was sending to my other reps) to him that mentioned how I knew about PNAC etc. and never had anything happen. I think the only reason why you'd get a visit is if you threaten him in someway. Your Email was quite tame.

10. That's great !
You really hit the nail on the head. People can laugh all day about Clinton "feeling their pain," but that's what's missing from the entire government right now.

11. I wouldn't worry. But you can cut to the chase and just spray
"PEACE" in your front window as we have. Then the guys know where to park and stuff and don't waste taxpayer dollars.

14. I agree
I was born into a middle class family and was spoiled, while my parents deny it, and yet I do understand poverty 2nd hand. I lived with my grandfather and grandmother who didn't make more than $30,000 per year combined and my parent's families were poor. Imagine hunting your meal in eastern KY each night.

My children work over the 40 hours work week just to make it. This is what separates us from the elites. They don't have to work as hard nor as long to make it. Bush can ride a bike for hours and get paid for it while your kids are working to no end to make it. I'm unemployed and job hunting isn't easy in KY. I have a better chance of catching Bigfoot than getting a job that allows me to move out of my dad's place yet $6.XX is the best this area can do unless you know the right people.

I don't have my family fortunes to live off. Be great to have that. Make things easier on my family. My cousin is a surgeon that has to compete with H1Bs from India. She worked temp jobs since Bush first got office. All that work and this is what she gets for it. What happened to the America that allowed a family to work out of poverty and have a decent pay and benefits if they were willing to work for it? Now, it's all about connections and family wealth.

As for the rest of the post, LTTE of any and all newspapers. People must see that Bush is just a spoiled, upper class brat who thinks poor people are lazy.

15. I just think this is a fantastic letter,
its great you took the time to put all your thoughts down, and so clearly too. Yours is a heartfelt plea. I don't think you will have FBI/Secret Service at your door, but you may not get invited to hear Shrub speak in your town! Thanks for sharing...

ps. please be sure to send your e-mail off to the Washington Post and the Iconoclast. those are both great ideas.

You won't get a FBI visit just yet. Maybe in a couple of years once BushCo has gutted the judiciary and can run amok without fear of prosecution.

18. Not at all intending to be snarky,
but before you send this off to the Washington Post, or any other newspaper, you should have this letter edited a bit. Some parts need a bit more clarity, some need capitalization. Here's an example (and there is SOMEONE here who will do a better job than I can!):
-----

the more correct it is, the better chance it has of being published.

24. No
There is nothing threatening in your letter. But if they
do show up, have a copy of the constitution ready to give them.

You have the right to express yourself to anyone in this country
including our fradulent, idiotic president.

I have a big copy of the constitution framed and hanging in my
hallway for just such occasions.

28. Question about one of the statements.
Those making over $90,000 should give too

I don't really understand this statement. I believe this year all income over $90,000 was exempt from SS tax, but the first $90,000 is taxed. Are you suggesting that the SS cap be removed along with the benefits no longer being tied to a person's contributions into the system? If so this section could be re-worded.

Just a suggestion
