I hereby propose CARBON MONOXIDE for executing people.
It is REALLY, ACTUALLY, VERIFIABLY painless. It happens by accident a lot. People just get sleepy, go out and never come back. Given that you aren't going to stop killing people legally any time soon, why not use a method that is TRULY painless? There are lots of doubt about the lethal injection. Just get the poor bastard in a room with a matress and let the gas in. Unlike a car's exhaust pipe, pure CO doesn't actually smell, and is colorless.

Cooking gas has the same effect (and it also doesn't smell, foul-smelling gases are added for security) but it can be argued that it's flammable. You wouldn't want jails blowing up at random.

I predict that the radical punishists (you know who you are, you trollish creeps) won't like the idea because THEY WANT PAIN.

Discuss.

1. I propose that we don't execute. I mean hey, murder in the name of
a state is still murder.

2. I agree with you, of course.
I'm just testing some suspicions I have about people's sick minds.

8. I'm for using nuclear weapons tests
We can put special places close up to the new bush nuclear weapons
testing regimen, and let people go in sub-second zeal. Its faster,
more efficient and painless... AND, we could torch entire groups,
like the GOP in one painless execution chamber.... i mean, if
efficiency was your objective, like it was for the nazis, surely
the bush people are on the trail and will come up with mass
murder by nuke in short order.
