Georgie has breakfast with the Dutch leader at the Château Saint Gerlach.
Edited on Mon May-09-05 02:59 PM by CottonBear
Georgie went to breakfast with the Dutch leader and caused the Château Saint Gerlach to be sealed up tight by Dutch security forces. I wonder how much this cost the Dutch and how much of the grounds of the Château were messed up by all of the equipment and vehicles? I'm sure that he endeared himself to his Dutch hosts just like he did to his British hosts (He stayed at Buckingham Palace.) in England last year.

I found these photos with comments which were posted online by a Dutch national who is from Maastricht, the Netherlands.

.

"The Royal Marechaussee in ceremonial tenue: no klewangs (indonesian-style swords) allowed by the Secret Service! Therefore an incomplete tenue and a 'modern salute'."

"The Royal Marechaussee (which guards the Dutch palaces) in full force"

"The Château Saint Gerlach is hermetically sealed off"

"Château Saint Gerlach near Maastricht"

"In the château"

Once again, extraordianry measures are taken to make sure that Bu$h is kept away from the general public. Randi Rhodes was talking about how he asked the press TO LEAVE a question and anwer session that he had with a non-pre-screened (?) audience at this event.

1. Yes, I heard this! Students asking pointed questions and the press
was kicked out! The IDIOT king cannot be exposed for the MORON he is.

Great questions by the kids- fantastic. Hitting fuckface with a sledgehammer... I need to get the list from the source she had.

2. Did you see the speech he gave at the cemetery later that day?
The Dutch leader spoke eloquently in fluent English while * struggled to make 6 word sentences. It was too painful to watch. I turned the channel after the Dutch leader spoke.

The cemetery is beautiful.

5. It was on TV in the middle of the night here in the eastern USA.
I couldn't sleep, got up and turned on the TV. There the chimp was sitting right between the Dutch Queen Beatrix and the Dutch Prime Minister (or is he a President?). The Dutch leader gave a a moving speech. He mentioned Ann Frank.

I went to the Ann Frank house in Amsterdam. By the time I got to the end of the tour I was in tears. I had no idea it would be so moving and so sad.

7. bush was a complete imbecile. Damn near illiterate. He had his
script there. Obviously was looking down at it from time to time. Probably a bunch of doodles in crayon with some lunch leftovers spilled on it. Dear God, what an embarrassment. He couldn't get two sentences out coherently.

DEAR WORLD, WE DID NOT VOTE FOR THIS JACKASS!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE DON'T ASSUME THAT HE REPRESENTS US!!!!!!!!!!

4. Maastricht is a beautiful city
And, oh, the beer. How I miss that Martens Pils.

A shame it had to be blighted by the presence of the Propagandist.
