anybody with two eyeballs can tell you, bush isn't really the president. we've been operating without one since bill left.

bush the idiot is beyond blame because his handlers, the true rulers of our nation are the real culprits and criminals, bush is simply playing the part of president. we all know he's too stupid to handle anything official.

bush is stupid, despite theories stating otherwise.

bush may escape blame throughout history based on this fact.

16. He has ALREADY used that as a defense..i.e. Iraqi intelligence
He claims he's not to blame for anything. Therefore he can't take credit for anything either.

2. I was watching him on the news
he was looking at a map with Putin, he looked lost, like he didn't know what he was looking at.
I wonder how long in those meetings he actually talks.
Is it just photo ops?
Do you think as soon as the cameras go off, Cheney or KKKarl sits down in the chair?

3. I wish them bastards would hold still!
But every time somebody tries to turn on the light, they scurry back into the woodwork (a.k.a. undisclosed locations).

I was going to disagree with you about bu$h being stupid. I was going to point out how he's not stupid, he's just intellectually lazy. He doesn't see why he has to expend the time and energy to learn something when Poppy will just hand it to him on a silver platter. But that's stupid in the long run--so never mind!

4. When I blame bu$h it usually includes his entire regime.
even when not mentioned, I usually intend it that way.
We know he would be a babbling lump on a bar stool if KKKarl Rove didn't pump him with words all the time

7. EXCUSE ME FOR YELLING BUT I GET TIRED OF DU LETTING BUSH OFF THE HOOK
Edited on Mon May-09-05 06:29 AM by emulatorloo
Bush is part and parcel of the whole thing.

Anybody with two eyeballs can tell you the he learned at the feet of the most corrupt republican "strategists," and he fully aware of what is going on and where his admin is taking us.

I guess if he can fool half the people that he is a 'ranching texan' he can fool the other half that he is blameless and not culpable because he 'isn't in charge' or whatever.

8. I agree with you to a point.
Yes, we all know he is not the one in charge. We all know that Cheyney is running the show because * does not have the intelligence to find his way out of a paper bag, but if he is letting them use him, then he is guilty also. Now the question might be, does he realize they are using him? Or in his small warped mind, does he really think he is the president? If that is the case, then he really is a mental case. Either way, the man is dangerous.

10. They Are All Guilty...
no matter how clueless or involved they are. Bush was elected (unfortunately) by the people and thus he is the one who is misleading our country. He is the spokesman for the axis of evil, bad one at that.

The most guilty would have to be Karl Rove and Dick Cheney (who we all know is the real President behind the scenes).

11. This is the Ronnie Reagan strategy again. Remember him? Played
a dottering old fool who was scripted by his handlers. As a result, RWR escaped accountability for Iran-Contra and related crimes.

Same script, different actor. One who can't even remember his lines, so they keep him away from microphones as much as possible. At least Reagan could give a speech, and off the cuff, he could deliver clever, snide one-liners.

But, Ronnie was loved by his aides and supporters. Shrub is nearly universally reviled, particularly by his handlers.

Despite his lack of grasp of details, Shrub will be indicted and convicted of command responsibility for war crimes.

12. Nonsense
He is the President of the United States. I do not give a good shit who is calling the shots, it is George W. Bush who is in charge. Every single misdeed of his administration is his responsibility, there is no ducking of that responsibility because he might be an idiot and figurehead.

Russian President Vladimir Putin (L) lends some assistance as U.S. President George W. Bush drives Putin's 1956 Volga after their meeting at Putin's Presidential Residence in Novo Ogarevo, outside Moscow, May 8, 2005. Bush is on a four-nation tour centred around the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe but balanced by visits to Latvia and Georgia which are reluctant to celebrate the start of the Cold War division of the continent. Sorry if I'm running off topic here, MoPaul. The pic fits the thread. He is in the 'driver's seat', and does need to be held accountable. I just hope someone can grab the wheel before he drives the whole world over the edge of the cliff.

18. I don't buy the "Bush is stupid" argument
I believe he is fully in charge, is a religious nutcase, and believes he will preside during Armageddon.

And when you come down to it, Bush being fully in charge is far more frightening than the alternative theory.

Remember Harry Truman had that motto framed on his desk. Bush can act stupid, well, he is stupid, but he is the one who is ultimately responsible for what goes on in his administration.

22. Wow, what happened to all the hate?
He isn't too stupid to know what he is doing is wrong. He does sign all those papers that are taking over our lives by taking over our rights. Even if he doesn't do a lick of work all day, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't, he is still making the ruination of our country possible.

He knows what he is doing. He thinks he can get away with it and get a presidential library out of it, because Poppy and the Gipper got away with it. It's time to make him accountable as well as the rest of the theocons. He can't be allowed to get away with it this time.

25. Interesting thing about Hitler on TV the other night...
...according to recently studied documents, for a dictator, Hitler didn't actually do much dictatin'. He apparently spent most of his time in bed or doing lunch, leaving his staff to run around desperately trying to second-guess what policies he might want putting in place. He was of the belief that domestic problems would generally sort themselves out if left alone; focused on his plans for expansion and war, he didn't really know or care what was happening to Germany or the (non-combatant) German people.

Any of this sounding familiar?

26. yes, he is stupid
And he's dangerously stupid - too dumb to realize that he's little more than a puppet.

I saw clips yesterday of his visit with Putin and was so mortified by his strutting, his vapid yuck-yucking hee-haw bobblehead, his standling like a tailor's dummy with this ridiculous expression on his face while Putin had to move him - almost picked him up - to put him in front of the correct seat. This ridiculous braying was made even worse by the insults he and Rice have been heaping on Putin for the last week. It's like they're just itching to start a new cold war.

I DO blame him, because as stupid as he is, he could put a stop to his puppetmasters just by virtue of the office he holds and at least put an end to the worst abuses. Not likely to happen.

Edited on Mon May-09-05 10:38 AM by Cleita
yesterday? Everytime Mike tried to put a question to Putin that suggested, Russia wasn't a true democracy under his leadership, Putin volleyed them right back pointing out that we didn't have a democracy either. He even brought up that he was elected and Bush was appointed by judges. ROFL.
